Useful Information
Bringing Your Dog
Dogs are very welcome. We have a dog-proof paddock where dogs can run safely off-lead and where there are even a few jumps and weaving poles available should your dog enjoy a bit of agility training.
There are plenty of walks from the cottages on quiet roads with dog friendly pubs en-route. A five minute footpath takes you to Stow-on-the-Wold where many of the pubs welcome dogs. More information on dog friendly activities in the area can be found on www.dogfriendlycotswolds.co.uk.
We're happy to provide towels for drying off your dog after walks and other items such as a dog crate, dog throw, water bowl and poo-bags if needed.
So that we can continue to welcome dogs, we do ask owners to please follow the following guidelines:
- We would rather not have dogs under 6 months of age but if you do have a young dog please discuss this with us.
- If you wish your dog to join you on the sofa use the dog throw provided but please don't allow your dog on the bed.
- If you need to leave your dog alone in the property we can provide a dog crate with pet blanket.
- If your dog returns with muddy feet please use the outside tap and dog towels provided.
- Please clear up after your dog wherever it occurs! We can provide poo-bags.
- The Countryside Code is very important so please keep your dog under close control at all times for its own safety as well as the comfort of others.
- Please thoroughly clean the cottage, including dog hair from rugs, before you leave.
Thank you!
