Bringing your dog

Bringing your dog

Dogs are welcome in Stonewell, Fishers Cottage and The Oxbow.  We have a half-acre dog-proof paddock where dogs can run safely off-lead and there are even a few jumps and weaving poles should your dog enjoy a bit of agility training.

There are plenty of walks from the cottages on quiet roads with dog-friendly pubs en route and just a five-minute walk on a footpath to Stow-on-the-wold where many of the pubs welcome dogs.

We're happy to provide towels for drying off your dog after walks and other items such as a dog crate, pet blanket and poo-bags if needed.

So that we can continue to welcome dogs to Park Farm we do ask owners to please follow the following guidelines:-

  • We do not allow dogs under 6 months of age in the cottages.
  • Dont allow your dog on furniture or in the bedrooms.
  • Dont leave your dog alone with free run of the property. If necessary we can provide a dog crate with pet blanket.
  • In fairness to other guests, keep your dog on a lead in the garden and around the other cottages. There are several paddocks close to the cottages where dogs can be let off the lead.
  • If your dog returns with muddy feet wash off your dog at the outside tap before allowing the dog back in the cottage. We can supply special dog towels for drying off.
  • Clear up after your dog wherever it occurs! We can provide free poo-bags.
  • Obey the Countryside Code and keep your dog under close control at all times for its own safety as well as the comfort of others.
  • Please thoroughly clean the cottage, including dog hair from rugs, before you leave.
