Coronavirus (Covid-19) Update

Covid-19              Taking care of our guests, our staff, our family and our community

We are very pleased to be able to open our doors again to guests. We have completed a Covid-19 Risk Assessment and put in place a new Cleaning Protocol. As a result, we are very happy to say that we have been granted the Good to Go accreditation from VisitEngland.

Our “double clean” involves the necessary careful deep clean throughout the property followed by going over for a second time with a virucidal sanitiser.  Crockery, cutlery and glasses will be washed between bookings, linen and towels will be laundered professionally and soft furnishings will be treated with a disinfectant spray. Hydra Hand and Surface Sanitiser Liquid is available in the cottage and gloves and masks are available if required.

Changeovers will take more time so we would ask that guests arrive no earlier than 4pm and leave promptly by 10am on departure. It would help us enormously if, before leaving, you would:-

1. Take the linen off beds

2. Put all crockery and cutlery (used and unused) in the dishwasher and set it going

3. Empty the bins into the outside bins

4. Leave the windows open

Thank you for your help!

We’ve been advised to reduce the number of items in the property, i.e. some not-often-used kitchen equipment, decorative items, cushions, leaflets, jigsaws, etc. If there is anything missing that you would particularly like to have, please let us know.

The tennis court is available for use but please bring your own tennis rackets and balls.

When we confirm you booking we ask you to make sure all in your group are well prior to travelling to reduce the risk of spreading virus.  Should a member of your party develop symptoms during your stay, the Government advice is to return to your primary residence.

It is also important to let us know if you develop symptoms of coronavirus within 14 days of returning home.

Remember the best way to stay safe is to regularly wash hands thoroughly.

Take care and have a great holiday!
